Ross Martin-Wells, PhD
Ross brings extensive experience in laboratory operations with a background in precision metrology within atomic and molecular spectroscopic physics. Before founding Lab Belay, Ross's career has focused on improving precision in labs, classrooms, and boardrooms.
An experienced academic researcher and professor in quantum-dominated interactions, he has applied this technical expertise to build startups from the ground up and has worked in fields as diverse as laser disinfection, the food industry, educational software, precision lithography, and frequency metrology. Ross strongly believes in solving actual problems labs experience through better use of technology.
Jeff Berger, PhD
Jeffrey Berger is a Ph.D. theoretical physicist with over 13 years of leadership in software engineering, distributed systems, quantum-inspired algorithms, and enterprise calculation engines.
Former CTO and Director of Architecture across multiple venture-backed startups and quantitative funds. Built distributed calculation engines for large-scale statistical ML jobs and quantum algorithms.
Jack DeLoach
Full-stack engineer and CISO with deep expertise in technical architecture, data pipelines, and embedded security infrastructure across high-scale engineering organizations.
Has managed engineering teams focused on infrastructure and security at Stripe and Knewton in NYC, San Francisco, and Denver.
